Email Filtering
The Children's Internet Protection Act also requires schools and libraries to
filter their email for objectionable email. Currently, many email systems
are trying to cope with large volumes of Unsolicited Commercial Email (also
called junk email and spam), viruses, email bombs, messenger spam and questionable
email.

mailbox. There are two types
- Messenger Spam
- This is spam that uses the Windows Messaging System.

- Emails from questionable businesses.
The current state of the web is requiring businesses to use email filtering
systems in self defense. Depending on which email server you are using there are
a number of different software products available - some are free, others at a
nominal cost.
Many popular email programs allow you to filter emails.
